We are proud to have joined the group of Shopping Centres that can boast the prestigious international BREEAM In-Use certificate! The document confirms that we use ecological solutions, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, both in the daily operation of the centre and in the way it is managed.
To achieve good results, our Shopping Centre had to meet a number of strict criteria, including with waste management and recycling, energy saving, water consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. The management method, customer comfort, transport solutions, materials used, solutions for environmental protection and concern for biodiversity were also taken into account.
BREEAM In-Use certificate is one of the most important systems of ecological assessment of buildings, including Shopping Centres, in Europe. Buildings that have been in operation for at least two years can apply for the certificate.
